What we do with your information

The short version

We collect what you hand us so it can reach the tree company that will quote the work: the form on this site, and phone calls, which may be recorded. Your request goes to one independent local tree company, which may pay Canadian River Tree Service for the referral, and to no one else. The site uses Google Analytics. If you want your information gone, call and ask, and we delete our copy.

The quote form

Four things come through the quote form: who you are, a number to reach you, where the tree stands, and what it’s doing. We pass them to one independent tree company serving Norman, which calls you back, quotes the job, and schedules it; that firm can pay us a fee for passing the job along. Nobody else receives them. Requests are kept on file so that when you get in touch two years later about the other tree, there is a record of the first one.

Phone calls

Calls to and from our number may be recorded, so addresses and details do not get lost. Oklahoma is a one-party-consent state (13 O.S. § 176.4), which means recording a call is lawful when one party to it — in this case, us — consents. We would rather you simply know: assume calls may be recorded, and if you would prefer not to be, send the quote form instead of calling.

Cookies and tracking

Google Analytics runs on these pages. Its cookies tally visits, show which pages get read, and log when someone taps the phone link. Nothing here serves ads or social-media tracking. The hosting service keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, page requested, time), used only to keep the site running and secure.

Things this site does not do

There are no accounts to create and no passwords to forget. The site does not ask for payment information, and none passes through it. There are no newsletter lists, so submitting the quote form signs you up for exactly one thing: a phone call about your tree. If you ever receive marketing that claims to come from us, it did not, and we would like to hear about it.

Sharing

Your request goes to one independent tree company serving Norman, which may pay Canadian River Tree Service for the referral. Apart from that company, it is shared only with the services that keep the site running, such as the phone system that carries and records calls and the hosting that serves this page, or if the law requires it. Those providers get the minimum needed to do their job and no license to use it for anything else.

Removing your information

Call (405) 578-5525 and ask. We will delete the form entries and call recordings we hold. Ask the tree company you were referred to as well, since it keeps separate records.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new effective date at the top. No notification theater; just check the date.
